The Giving Gals, organized Holiday Hope 2009 to benefit at-risk teenagers served by the Denver Department of Human Services. These teens are a group of people who are often forgotten this time of year. With help from presenting sponsor Councilman Rick Garcia, donations from the Highlands Mommies and many neighborhood businesses we were able to put together 200 reusable gift bags, filled with school supplies, hygiene items, candy, and gifts. We gathered a group of families together at the Hai Bar in Highlands Square to help us fill 200 bags and to be video taped singing some Christmas Carols, this dvd will be sent to neighborhood nursing homes as a way to brighten the holidays for some of our neighborhood's grandparents. We had a great turn out and the event was a huge success!
Thank you to all of our generous sponsors and to the families who came out to help us fill the bags and sing! This was the first of what we hope will be many events that make a difference in our community.

Please support these generous businesses, with out their help this event would not have been possible!
